FaithWorks Compton (FWC) operates in partnership with Faith Inspirational Missionary Baptist Church (FIMBC) seeks to continue to improve the lives of the residents of Compton by “Saving Souls and Changing Lives”. FWC continues to further advance the work that FIMBC has begun by implementing its housing development programs; youth entrepreneurial and development programs.

 

OUR PROGRAMS

Algorithm and Flow

Aims to diversify the tech industry by training the next generation of urban computer scientists. The program supports 50 students ages 7-17 and equips them to build interactive 3D games, author websites, and much more.

Compton Male Academy

A program for young men ages 12 to 18 that will educate them in the areas of Life Skills, Spirituality, Entrepreneurship, Interpersonal Development, and Academic Enrichment.

Golf Tournament  

Our annual golf tournament provides us with an opportunity to Swing into Action with a day filled with fun and fundraising. During our golf tournament, we award the Burrell Myers award to a program within the city of Compton that provides excellent services to our youth.

Housing Initiative 

FaithWorks is committed to taking back the city of Compton. One way in which we are going to accomplish this goal is through our housing initiative. We will purchase homes within Compton in which the residents will lead block clubs and prayer meetings and join us in enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

Leaves of Change - Donor Tree Campaign 

FaithWorks Compton's Leaves of Change Campaign is an ongoing opportunity for individuals to take advantage of an opportunity by donating to help us take back the city of Compton with a permanent marker of their commitment to the city and our mission; restoring Compton through access to educational, economic, civic and recreational opportunities that enhance the quality of life of EVERY resident!
 

Tutoring Program

Faithworks Compton is honored and proud to partner with the Tutoring Program of Faith Inspirational Missionary Baptist Church. Their program connects with students of all ages and grades from 1st grade to college-level studies. We are eager and ready to help support each student to reach their full potential.
